Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik in Iceland. She is also a coach as well as instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first woman ever to win the two CrossFit Games. She placed second in the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and media celebrity. She was the first woman winner of at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. Other accomplishments includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie was born in Reykjavik, Iceland along with her parents and siblings. As a exercising enthusiast since a young age she participated in numerous school competitions and won several medals. In 2009, she participated in CrossFit events in California. Her first results were quite impressive. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 in 2021. She is 5'7 tall and weighs approximately about 67 kgs. Annie began her CrossFit experience in California in the year 2009. Annie was able to do very well in the initial matches. Annie was ranked among in the top 10 among over 70. She did not manage to achieve any success in the event and finished it with a ranking of eleven. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Her coach Jami Tikannen guided her to an overall second place at the CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. In her second year, she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she became the very first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie won again in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She was the first female athlete to win the two CrossFit Games at once. She also took home a gold. Then in 2021 she was awarded with a bronze. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie's rising fame as an athlete has seen her become the model for a variety of sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. She also has her own Youtube channel called "Annie" and has more than a thousand subscribers. This is the channel where she posts videos on training diet, family life and traveling.
