Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as an experienced professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is the first female to win at the CrossFit Games twice. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and media celebrity. Her fame was boosted by her being the first woman who taken home the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012 Other accomplishments include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie was raised in Iceland, Reykjavik together with her parents and siblings. Annie was an avid sportsperson and started working out at the age of five. In 2009, she participated in CrossFit events in California. Her first results were quite impressive. Annie Thorisdottir was 31, (by 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs around 67 kilograms. Annie began her CrossFit experience in California in 2009. She was successful in her first competitions and finished with the top 10. But she did not win any title she ended the competition in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The coach Jami Tikannen coached her to the second position in the CrossFit Games, and a medal in the silver category that year. Because of her outstanding performance, she was able to take home the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie is the only female who has ever won in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. In 2014, she took home a gold. Then in 2021 she took home a bronze. Annie coaches and train with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face of many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and the Sidekick Yorbae. In addition, she has a Youtube channel named "Annie" that has a large number of subscribers. These are the videos she has made for her travels and diet video clips.
