Mary Marg Helgenberger (born November 16 1958) is an American actress. Her professional career started at the beginning of the 1980s. She became famous due to her portrayal of Siobhan Ryan in the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope from 1982 to 1986. Catherine Willows was her best part on the CBS drama, police procedural. Crime Scene Investigation, a show on television that ran from 2000 until 2013 and Immortality which was a film for television that was released in the year the year 2015. She also is the most senior member of the family with four siblings. McCain finished her education in The Phoenix Country Day School and Xavier College Preparatory an all-girl private Catholic high school. In 2007 she earned her bachelor's degree in art and history from Columbia University. The View was her home since The View in 2017 and hosted the show from 2017 until 2021. McCain has received the show four Daytime Emmy nominations. McCain is also a Daily Mail journalist after her three-year stint as a reporter on The View. McCain also published four other books, including America You Sexy Bitch, A Love Letter to Freedom and Bad Republican.
