She received a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from The University of Miami, in 1986. While still a student at undergraduate level, she landed in the position of sports director for Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. Moreover she was employed there during two years between 1984 till 1986. Also, she was part of the University of Miami water skiing team in this period. She moved to New York City after high school, where she took classes in film and TV production at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts as well as taking classes in comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. After graduating in high school she relocated to New York City, where she took improv classes in the theater of the Upright Citizens Brigade and was a film and TV production student at the Tisch School for the Arts. The school graduated her in the year 2006.
